Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness or MBSR Meditation has been practiced since the 1970s where it was first invented at UMass Medical Center as a way to help patients with less than hopeful diagnosis'.

Mindfulness can be understood as a non-judgemental acceptance and investigation of the present experience, including body sensations, mental states, thoughts, emotions, impulses and memories, in order to reduce suffering or distress and to increase well-being.

Here we will sit or lay in a relaxed manner and create the space for self observation and healing together as we focus attention on the body and mind through guided breath and body scan practices.

This offering is available to all levels of experience and to both individuals and groups.

Pricing varies depending on class size.
